It is now recognised as the World’s Largest Cricket Stadium situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is sprawled across a massive 64 acres of land. The stadium has been designed for longevity for over 100 years to come. It comprises of about 9000 pre-cast elements weighing from 3 MT to 285 MT. The upper bowl is of pre-cast elements with intricate geometrical shapes and heavier elements. The stadium also encompasses a state-of-the-Art drainage system that helps reduce rain delays.
